BAYHAM – where opportunity is yours!
The Municipality of Bayham is a quaint, relaxing community, located in the eastern part of Elgin County, along the northern shoreline of Lake Erie …. and is one of southwestern Ontario’s best-kept secrets.
Bayham’s natural and diverse environment provides quality outdoor experiences for both recreational and educational activities. This budding community has a number of attractive villages and hamlets that share a place in the rolling farmlands and wooded valleys and ravines that is characteristic of Bayham. The fact that 25% of Bayham is tree covered, allows Mother Nature to bring in the Fall Season with a spray of magnificent colours that can be enjoyed by taking a scenic route along Bayham’s winding, county roads.
Bayham is an amazing community for resident and visitor alike. Its closeness to Lake Erie, its natural beauty and its cultural heritage and history, combine with its wonderfully diverse people to make it a very attractive place to live and visit. From its countryside and delightful walking trails, to its historical churches dating back to 1836, its peaceful apple orchards and hawk viewing cliffs, to its warm wonderful beaches and charming fishing village, Bayham has something to offer everyone.
