Community partnership is the engine that will bring smart technologies and services to St. Thomas and Elgin County. Successful "smart communities" are built on broad-based, cross-sector partnerships that form when organizations, government and business recognize that they can accomplish more by working together.

So, who's getting involved? An initial elginconnects Steering Group has been formed with representation from a wide range of community sectors. Each organization brings their own expertise and is committed to represent the broad interests of their sector across the St. Thomas and Elgin community.

We are working to expand representation from other sectors as well. Please contact us with your suggestions and comments.
